Vintage Mars 5923 Floor Lamp by Ateljé Lyktan, Sweden 1970s

Well-preserved floor lamp designed 1972 by Per Sundstedt for the south Swedish lamp manufacturer Ateljé Lyktan. A beautiful chromed tulip shaped bottom and chrome details on top. When lit, the deep maroon-hued lampshade transforms into a warm orange-brown glow, creating a soft and atmospheric light. A fine example of Scandinavian 1970's lighting design.

Quirks and imperfections: The lamp is in great condition, though it shows small signs of age: two thin surface scratches on the shade (approx. 4 cm and 1 cm)
